Nerf Herders Discuss the Star Wars Holiday Special
Show Notes

THE Underground Source of El Paso's SECOND SPIN-OFF SHOW - NERF HERDERS DISCUSS... - in which Victor and Miggs talk about stuff from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away!

In this second episode, your favorite scruffy looking nerf herders talk about the Star Wars Holiday Special. They try their best to describe this confounding television special that aired only once during November 1978. It introduced Chewbacca's family and featured the Golden Girls' Bea Arthur running the infamous Tatooine cantina, comedic actor Harvey Korman played 3 weirdo characters, an old Wookiee watches suggestive material, acrobats and jugglers, Bantha surprise, Jefferson Starship, even segments featuring Mark Hamill (LUKE), Harrison Ford (HAN) and Carrie Fisher (LEIA). A genuinely weird 70s tv thing. Happy Life Day!

This episode produced by M. De Santiago, G. Armendariz and V. Cruz. Disembodied voices belong to V. Cruz and M. De Santiago. COVER ILLUSTRATION by E. 'Nacho Nova' Peterson. INTRO MUSIC is the classic Star Wars intro fanfare by JOHN WILLIAMS, DISCUSSION MUSIC courtesy of Youtube's SOUL CANDLE, OUTRO MUSIC is a clip of Meco's 1977 "Star Wars Theme / Cantina Band," a disco reworking of classic Star Wars themes.

This podcast series is a love letter to the Star Wars movies, cartoons, books, tales, music and mythos. THANK YOU GEORGE LUCAS! RATED JEDI & NSFW
